Working at Szarvas Camp is a big commitment and also, a huge reward. We are looking for Specialists and Staff members who can dedicate their time and energy to contribute to a safe, secure and wholesome camp experience for our campers.
Over twelve-days, Szarvas Camp creates a deeply impactful experience for the participants, and this depends primarily on the devoted and exemplary work of the leaders working at the camp.

Precamp: (Pre-camp takes place before the sessions. It's purpose is to prepare staff for the upcoming sessions and to bring the team together through shared learning and team-building experiences.)
Sessions:
Your responsibilities will be to...
- supervise campers, always ensuring their safety, health and well-being
- plan, prepare and lead engaging camp activities (e.g., arts & crafts, sports...), at the highest level possible
- assist in daily camp programs and operations
- follow all camp policies, safety protocols, and procedures
- maintain a friendly and informal atmosphere
- foster an inclusive and supportive camp environment by encouraging teamwork and respect among campers
- collaborate with fellow camp staff to create an unforgettable camp experience
If you are someone who...
- is at least 18 years old
- is fluent in English
- is available to spend at least one full session at camp
- can attend in whole or in part
- has experience and knowledge in the area you would like to work in
- is energetic and enthusiastic
- has leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- enjoys working with kids
- has a clean criminal background (must apply for a certificate of good conduct or other relevant documentation from your home country)
- having experience working with children or youth in a camp, school, or recreational setting is a plus

What does the application process look like?
To join our team, please follow these steps in order.
- Fill out the application form (application form for 2026 will be available soon)
- We will review your application and contact your references. If we feel that you may be a good fit to join our team, we will contact you, for example for further clarification questions or to schedule an interview.
- If your application is accepted, you will be contacted by our HR team to collect additional data from you for the contract administration.
- Once you have been accepted, please acquire a certificate of good conduct or other relevant documentation from your home country from your local authorities.
- Before starting your job at Szarvas Camp, you will have to sign your contract, fill out, and sign a waver and a medical form. We will provide all the necessary information regarding these documents.
